PARTNER, DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY & ENGINEERING

Erick brings his interest in computer science and experience in product engineering to every project. Serving as Director of Technology and Engineering, his logical and analytical approach is mixed with plenty of inquisitive designer DNA. Erick received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Through his experience at Ford Motor Company, IDEO Product Development, and the MIT Center for Innovation in Product Development, he has been involved in the design, engineering, and management of a wide range of products and challenges ranging from an LED-based illumination system for a medical device to the fuel-charging system on an automobile engine.

With a background in the consulting and corporate world, Steve is well positioned to see the world through the eyes of Big Bang’s clients. As our Director of Research and Business Development, Steve focuses his energy on client advocacy as well as developing and directing our user-focused research initiatives with significant project involvement. Steve received a BS in Industrial Design from Michigan State University and built his experience at Xerox, GE Plastics, and other design-consulting firms prior to joining Big Bang. He has been an officer and active member of the Industrial Designers Society of America, the Association of Professional Design Firms, and the Georgia chapter of the Product Development Management Association.
